Raseca is a Sydney-based Filipina audio engineer, composer, music producer, and singer-songwriter. Her career in the music industry began with her move to Australia in 2019 to pursue a degree in composition and music production at the Australian Institute of Music—and even before pursuing a career in the industry, she was immersed in the world of choral music from a young age of 8 and had competed internationally in China, Latvia, and the United States.
During her internship at Studios 301 in 2022, Raseca developed her skills in audio mixing. She assisted in recording sessions and mixing preparations for various artists and bands, including Eagle Eye Jones, Spectre Jazz Orchestra, Liquid Squid, Jessey Napa, and Voli K.
Raseca served as an Audio Engineer and Studio Manager at Hive Sound Studios and as a Digitisation Engineer at Studios 301. She has become a full-time-all-rounder audio freelancer in both classical and contemporary music from 2024. More recently, she has been involved in live recordings of choral and orchestral music with Santa Sabina College and the Sydney Youth Orchestras under the mentorship of Jason de Wilde.
In her work, Raseca blends technical and musical skills — putting the artist's vision at the forefront. She engages deeply with the story and emotions behind each work of music, ensuring that these are vividly reflected in her mix. Special attention is given to vocal production, with a keen focus on the subtleties of delivery and harmony.
Her process begins by achieving the best sound quality possible, laying a solid foundation for the creative exploration that follows. This meticulous approach not only honours but also enhances the artist's original intent, allowing each piece to realise its full technical and artistic potential.
